The Youthy

Our youth provision offers a simple promise to young people attending secondary school age: you’ll always find a safe, welcoming space where you’re listened to, believed in, and challenged to grow. Week in, week out, we run open-access sessions from the dedicated youth club in The Annexe, take part in detached street work to meet young people where they are, and organise school-holiday programmes packed with sport, arts, and trips that many families would otherwise find hard to afford. Alongside the fun, we focus on life skills such as confidence, communication, wellbeing, and practical support around education, training, and employment.

We’re equally proud of how much of the programme is shaped by young people themselves. Though regular feedback, the young people co-design activities, influence decisions, and hold us to account on what matters to them, from mental health and cost-of-living pressures to safer streets and better local opportunities.
